We Be Bonified!

On Saturday March 1st, me and my lovely & talented wife Kathy and the coolest sister-in-law ever Patti attended the KCBS Certified Judge's class held in Lewisburg, TN. We sat and listend as KCBS Representive extroadaire Ron Harwell shared what a KCBS Judge needs to know to fairly judge a contest. Assisting Ron were Bill Gauge and Wayne Lohman. Also in attendance were some of the best known BBQ faces in Tennessee such as Linda Gould, Tana Shupe, and David Roper. The class had 41 attendees from several states. the food was prepared by Buck & Brenda of High on the Hawg, Dan of Long Dawgs, Blue Smoke, and Gary & Richard of our very own DoRagQ. After several hours of instruction and tasteing, Ron asked us to face the West and raise our right hands. We then took the KCBS Judges Oath and became BONIFIED KCBS CERTIFIED JUDGES! YEEEEHAWWWW!
